Recipient of the WAIER Fogarty Foundation Postgraduate Student Research Prize
In 2020, WAIER called for applications for the WAIER Fogarty Foundation Postgraduate Student Research Prize. This is an opportunity for students engaged in higher education to receive support and recognition for their research. The focus is on research with direct relevance to early childhood, primary, secondary, or tertiary education contexts.
We are proud to be partnered with the Fogarty Foundation for this Prize. The Fogarty Foundation invests in education to provide opportunities for individuals to realise their potential and to change and enrich their lives. The Foundation supports activities and programs across the broad spectrum of the community, especially working with schools in low socio-economic areas and developing the capacity of future leaders in WA.
We were thrilled to award the Prize to Felicity Roux, who is a PhD candidate in the Curtin University School of Public Health. Felicity’s research focuses on developing and trialling a school-based ovulatory-menstrual health literacy program centred on the whole person. You can find out more about Felicity here.
WAIER is proud to support the work that Felicity is doing and we wish her all the best with her ongoing research activities.
