Western Australian Institute for Educational ResearchSelected photos from Minute books 1929-1963This page provides access to a small but illustrative selection of photos that were taken for digitisation of Minute Books 1929-1963. Digitisation, that is copy typing from the photos, enables computer searching for names, keywords and dates. As the reader-viewer will observe, the 'ancient' typewriting that was used for Minutes was not easy reading and unsuitable for modern OCR (optical character recognition). As may be seen in [List of digitised documents], we endeavoured to reproduce the main features of the formatting that was popular during 1929-1963.
